Members Unwrapped Great Fun at Land of Mickey’s Holiday Party
Good food, good friends, and a fun gift-exchange game rounded out this year’s holiday party. Special thanks are extended to Debbie and Joanne for organizing the event.






New Documentary about Marcelline Tries to Move Toward Festival Circuit
As seen on The Disney Blog, Andy and Sara Neitzert have produced what looks to be a charming documentary film chronicling the history and life of Walt Disney’s “hometown” Marceline. They’ve just released a trailer and I love how it focuses on the people, not just the place. There are still many people in Marceline who knew Walt and it’s terrific to have their stories captured on film. View the trailer from the blog or directly from YouTube.


Preview Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival
Epcot’s beautiful landscaping is the star of the show during the Flower and Garden Festival. This year’s dates are March 7 – May 20. Preview info including info about presentations from HGTV stars and the Flower Power Concert Series can be found here.

Chapter Member of the Year Bonnie Goodman is one of our charter members and has been a member continuously since 1992.  Bonnie, and her late husband Ron, have been responsible for bringing many members to our club throughout the years. Bonnie  most recently served as our Chapter Secretary from 2007 until  2011. Bonnie and Ron both loved Goofy and were very fortunate to entertain Bill Farmer, the voice of Goofy, in their home several years ago. At that time, they also entertained Wayne Allwine (Mickey) and Russi Taylor(Minnie). We can only imagine how much fun that evening must have been! Bonnie’s other favorite character is the Witch Hag from Snow White. Bonnie has been a good friend to all and has helped to inspire many of us with her devotion to our club. Our  thanks to you, Bonnie, and wishes for many more Disney adventures to come. Congratulations, Bonnie!
